The top entry agitator mixer is the most common and widely used type of agitators. The stirring device of top entry agitators install on the top of vertical tanks. The drive device usually adopts gear reducer, cycloid reducer or belt transmission. The type of Impeller should be selected according to the use. Both of the driving device and support part working above liquid, so top entry agitators mixers can work without seals. Or use packing seal, but for tanks of vacuum or high pressure, we should use mechanical seals.
Structure
The motor and reducer installed on the top of tanks, the mixing shaft, transmission shaft, the seal can use packing seal or mechanical seal, it also can be used without seal. the type of impeller should be designed accroding to the detial requirement of process.
